ESMS opened its doors to students for the first time on September 6, 2007 with an exciting day of orientation sessions. For several years, students, staff and our East Selkirk community had been patiently waiting for this day. ESMS is located at 1140 Strathcona Road, in East Selkirk, Manitoba, which is 30 km north of Winnipeg. The school is next door to Happy Thought School and The East Selkirk Recreational Center. ESMS is a Grade 5-9 school that offers an academic program in both English and Ukrainian, as well as programs such as: Expressive Arts - (Drama, Band, Music), Fine
Arts - (Art Appreciation), Human Ecology, Tech Ed. / Industrial Arts, Life Skills Learning Center, Technology Literacy, and Physical Education/Health. |
